CUSTOMER COMMENTS

While traveling through outback Australia, I purchased and read the book A Good Yarn by Debbie Macomber.  Found your web site listed in Chapter 29.
Love your site, and especially the socks.

I have been away from knitting for over 30 years until I started knitting socks a few months ago. I’m just finishing the second sock of pairs 5 and 6. I can hardly wait to free up the needles so I can start a new pair using some of your yarn. I knit a small swatch to check my gauge, and it is the nicest yarn I have used yet. It feels so soft, and the colors are luscious. I will be ordering more after I knit up the 3 skeins I bought.  Your yarn was recommended by Jacquie , who taught me how to knit socks on circular needles. I am indebted to her for both.

I received my yarn a couple of days ago.  I had been meaning to send you an email letting you know how happy I am with it.  I love the texture and the color is just as advertised.

I only have one question.  What is the best way to unravel it?  I find it easier to roll all of my yarn into a ball.  I realize you are busy, whenever you have time let me know what is the easiest way.  I put one around a chair back, but still had a little bit of trouble.  Not enough for me not to buy from you again.  I am going back to your site right now to see what other goodies I can buy.  Thank you again!!

My response...

Hi Colleen,
Yes, the yarn definitely needs to be wound into a ball.  Sometimes I just sit on the couch with my feet on the coffee table, yarn around my knees and wind.  The ends of the skein are where the tag is tied.  But the easiest way to wind it is just to ask me the next time you order and we can put it into balls for you!  No charge, just ask.
